Breaking Down the Walls Week!
The week kicks off with an exciting school-wide assembly setting the tone; We are BETTER TOGETHER! All students will have the opportunity to hear a message that aims to remind students and staff how much they truly need one another. Student Leader Training The presenter will train a pre-selected group of students to lead small groups during a portion of the workshop experience. This 3-hour training will equip students with the vision of the program and prepare them to facilitate select activities during the workshop. Workshops Each workshop day is 6 hours in length and includes up to 175 students and 25 student leaders. The workshop day guides students through the process of learning to laugh together (instead of at each other), creating a place of respect, and having the opportunity to hear other’s stories and share their own.
