Jared is an Idaho Native, born and raised in Sugar City, and graduated with fellow Diggers in 1993. He earned his Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Idaho State University, where he previously earned his Masters in Counseling. Jared extensive experience ranges from Family therapy to adolescent development and managing at risk behaviors. His Career spans over 15 years working with youth in therapeutic schools, wilderness programs consulting practices.

Kat Reese has lived all over South Idaho, from Soda Springs to Caldwell. She received her associate in accounting from EITC (now CEI), Bachelors in Psychology from ISU, Master in Psychology from GCU, and currently attending GCU for her Masters in Education, School Counseling. Since 2008, Kat has worked in the developmental disability and mental health fields, helping children (and some adults) become more independent. She is the proud parent of two children and two grandchildren. Kat likes to paddleboard, camp, spend time with family and friends, and sing.
We are excited to have Kat joining the RHS Counseling team!

 Ashley has 4 children, ages ranging from 18-3, and she just moved to the area, coming from Preston, ID.  Her twin boys graduated from high school last year, and that feels like an amazing accomplishment for both Mom and boys. One of them joined the military, and she thrilled to be a military mom; the other is on his way to gaining an apprenticeship in plumbing. 

She loves to take her family on adventures and explore the world.  She and her kids describe their adventures and vacations as 'the best one ever' and are always looking forward and planning their next adventure.  She enjoys spending time outdoors, going on road trips, and concerts. She has seen her favorite artist, Celine Dion, in concert two times.  

Ashley graduated with her Master's of Social Work in 2013 from
U of U, she has worked in substance abuse, juvenile probation, mental health counseling and in elementary school counseling. She is a licensed clinical social worker and also uses her love of horses to provide equine therapy in addition to working in a private mental health agency.  She believes that the next generation will be amazing, and she is excited to grow and motivate them to reach their full potential. 
Fun fact: her favorite color is CAMO and she loves sparkly things.

Kim may have graduated from Madison High School, but please don’t hold that against her, as her heart is firmly rooted in Rigby, where she has worked for the district for over a decade. Kim loves assisting in keeping the counseling department running smoothly and always has a hug or word of encouragement for the students of Rigby High, who affectionately refer to her as “Mama K” a name she finds great pride in. When she is not helping one of her 2100 RHS "kiddos" you will most likely find her with the families newest addition.  Their very 1st, absolutely perfect, adorable, brilliant & beautiful, granddaughter. The rest of Kim's tribe include a beautiful daughter (in-law), 2 amazing grown sons, and Super Hero Husband.
  Kim along with family in tow enjoy camping, hiking, fly-fishing & and continually exploring all that their "Idahome" has to offer!

Kim followed some of her favorite students from Rigby Middle & joined our Rigby High Counseling family in 2021. Kim is licensed in School Counseling and has been sharing her expertise in Jefferson, SD251 for nearly a decade. We appreciate the great resource she is for students who seem to be a bit lost in the darkness.  She helps them find, then teaches them how to cultivate and care for, their inner light. Kim is the mother of 3 beautiful, charismatic children, and grandmother to a brilliant, spunky almost 4-year-old.  Kim enjoys her weekends with her husband on their motorcycle, hiking, or on a solitary trip into the wilderness to capture a moment with her amazing photography skills. This is how Kim chooses to practice self-care & refill her cup.
Fun Fact! Kim and her family "may" have a slight addiction with Ford Broncos, as the family own 5 in various stages of restoration.

Born and raised in S.E. Idaho, Brittany enjoys the exclusive lifestyle that Idaho offers.
 Brittany graduated from ISU in 1998. After raising her boys, she returned to school and in 2017 obtained a Masters in social work.
Brittany has gleaned much experience while working in a variety of settings, her kaleidoscope of knowledge includes working in Community Mental Health Clinics, the Idaho Cancer Center, and with youth in foster care. Brittany loves working with adolescents, whether in therapeutic settings, or as the Co-Advisor of Rigby High's
Hope Squad, she finds all that teen energy empowering.
Taking a moment for herself, on the weekends Brittany loves spending her time in the outdoors, traveling & exploring.
Believing that you're never too old to learn, she is trying her hand at  fly-fishing.

Megan joined our RHS family in 2022 with
5 years of high school registrar experience. 
Having 6 kids of her own, 5 of them being
teenagers, she feels completely at home
in a high school setting. On the weekends
with husband and kiddos, hiking, kayaking
and exploring is where she can be found.
When she finds a spare moment for
herself, you can find her reading, or
doing DIY home projects. Her passion
in advocating for under served children
kindled the 5-year journey to open her
doors and to become a foster home for
at risk youth.

We are so EXCITED to have Heather joining us from Morgan, Utah to help our RHS students prepare for their futures!
She attended Weber State University where she earned a B.S. In Communication with an emphasis in PR and Advertising followed by a Master's of Professional Communication. Before coming to RHS, she worked as a middle school computer science teacher preceded by a job in the event planning department of a credit union. Heather lives with her husband and their black lab named Fayette. She loves to travel, read, and spend time outdoors.
