PTE Courses (Professional Technical Education)
Students and parents must be aware of the rigor of the dual enrollment courses available at Rigby High School and what a commitment registering for these classes entails. Speak to your Counselor for a better idea of all dual enrollment aspects. Dual credit courses generally cost $75 per credit.

PTE CertificationsStudents taking Professional Technical Education classes can be granted dual credit - generally for $10 per credit, after the course has been completed. Please speak to your instructor, or the institution granting this credit for more details. These credits are not covered by Advanced Opportunity funds, however some certification examinations are covered by this scholarship.

Associates of ArtsStudents from Rigby High School who this process in their sophomore year can earn an Associates of Arts from College of Southern Idaho by the time they complete their high school education. This is a rigorous academic track that should receive thorough consideration before this path is chosen. Please see your counselor if you have interest in attempting to earn 64 college credits by time your student graduates.

Advanced Opportunities
Advanced Opportunities is a state funded scholarship initiative allowing for students to receive scholarship funds to earn college credits while in high school.
