Rigby High School has a fully staffed counseling center with 4 Amazing counselors, a registrar, & two College and Career Advisors. They are available to parents and students, whether as liaisons between students and teachers, student and parent or just helping navigate academic, behavioral, and/ or social and emotional issues that accompany the high school years. WE ARE HERE TO HELP.
The counseling center includes 2 dedicated Full time College & Career Advisors to aid Seniors with college admission & scholarship applications. RHS Seniors have the opportunity to participate in Virtual College campus visits, to meet with their College & Career advisor one on one, & explore a selection of future career paths at Career Day. Seniors who sign up for the texting program are kept up to date on important senior information; all new & upcoming scholarships, college visits, important deadlines, ALL THINGS SENIOR. An annual evening meeting helps parents and students apply for federal financial aid using FAFSA.
RHS is committed to helping create a Culture & Climate that is welcoming to everyone. Climate and culture programs are sponsored by the RHS Counselors as well as Administration, including S.O.S Sources of Strength (Student Involved Suicide Prevention where students learn how to help & support their peers), and Breaking Down the Walls. Breaking Down the Walls is a week of sharing our stories & fostering the motto of "Better Together" at Rigby.
